Sri Mangala Daham School

Sri Mangala Daham school was started on the 1st of October, 1944 by Rev. Matara Sri Dhammawansha thero and it had 122 student at that time. After the demise of Sri Dharmawansha Thero many chief priests were conducting the school. With gradual development by 1966 it had many classes, 400 students and 38 teachers.

Present Situation.

In 1996 with the retirement of Rev. Walasgala Punnaji Mayuruwansa Thero as the principal of this school it was taken over by Rev. Walasgala Pangyasiri Thero and now it had 4 priests and 35 teachers student and over 20 classes.
